The Paid Social Manager / Creative Strategist will play a central role in scaling Merry People’s digital growth. This position owns the execution, optimisation, and strategic evolution of paid social channels, primarily Meta and TikTok, and leads the creative strategy that powers performance across all markets. Working within a fast-paced D2C environment, this role is suited to someone who loves being hands-on, data-driven, and deeply immersed in both creative and performance marketing. About the Role This role manages end-to-end paid social execution while driving the creative strategy that fuels Merry People’s growth. It requires someone who thrives on accountability, enjoys diving into data, and knows how to blend performance insights with compelling creative concepts. The successful candidate will partner closely with Brand, Content, and Commercial teams, and will have genuine ownership of a high-impact marketing function within a global business. Key Responsibilities 1. Paid Media Execution & Optimisation (50%) Execute full end-to-end Meta campaigns, including setup, QA, optimisation, creative uploads, audience refinement, and budget management. Provide proactive performance analysis with clear explanations, insights, and recommended actions. Maintain backend accuracy across pixel tracking, event setups, naming conventions, and technical configurations. Expand acquisition channels by launching and scaling TikTok campaigns with clear CPA/ROAS targets. Lead structured test-and-learn programs across creative, copy, audiences, and budgets. 2. Creative Strategy & Collaboration (50%) Partner with brand and content teams to ideate, brief, and iterate high-performing Meta ads across all stages of the funnel. Project manage the creative testing roadmap, track results, and recommend next steps. Analyse creative performance data to inform new concepts, hooks, messaging, and visual styles. Ensure output volume is maintained, leveraging external support when needed. Collaborate with Commercial teams to identify opportunities across global regions. Communicate performance results clearly to cross-functional stakeholders. The ideal candidate brings 3-5 years of hands-on paid social experience in a scaling eCommerce brand or digital agency.
